The Global Alliance of Travel Agent Associations is the worldwide trade organization representing the world's most prestigous travel agency trade and advocacy groups. GATAA provides its members and affiliates with a wide array of services to enhance the standing, professionalism, and competitiveness of their respective travel agencies.

Key to differentiating GATAA from other travel agent umbrella associations is GATAA's primary focus on leveraging travel technology, distribution enhancements, and better selling tools which provide increased benefits to travel agents and travel suppliers alike.

Another important and unique feature of GATAA is that members and affiliates must be retail travel agent organizations which either serve other travel agents or the travelling public. Travel suppliers are very welcomed allied partners, but not members.

Austrian Airlines and Lufthansa will offer eligible attendees complimentary transportation participating in the GATAA Organizational Meeting in Vienna, 23-24 May 2012.
